Meet Blair Lamora
Hi Blair! Tell us a little about yourself.
Hi! My name is Blair Lamora, and I’m an actress from Brampton, Ontario. My passion for the arts started at a young age, and ever since, I’ve been on a journey to bring powerful stories to life.

Extrovert, Empathetic, Virgo.
Blair’s Journey into Acting
How did you get started in acting?
I discovered my love for performance when a performing arts high school opened in my city. I auditioned, got accepted, and later realized my true passion was in film and television. So, I took the leap, and here I am!
How has acting changed your life?
Acting has deepened my understanding of human connection. It has taught me about empathy, resilience, and the power of storytelling. It’s helped me embrace life with more intention and creativity.
How do you prepare for a role?
I immerse myself in the character’s world—journaling from their perspective, making playlists with music they’d listen to, and figuring out their backstory beyond the script. This helps me step into their shoes naturally.

Tell us about your role as Ziigwan in SHORESY.
Ziigwan is bold, sharp-tongued, and fiercely loyal. She’s one of the powerhouses keeping the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs in check. Playing her is a blast because she’s confident, unfiltered, and unapologetically strong.
What can fans expect from Season 3?
Season 3 is packed with high-energy chirps, non-stop chaos, and some of the best one-liners yet. Trust me, you’ll want to have your sticks ready for this one!
What was the casting process like?
I originally auditioned for both Ziigwan and Miigwan. After submitting my tape, I heard back three months later—production wanted me as Ziigwan! The next thing I knew, I was in Sudbury working with an incredible cast and crew.
Blair’s Acting Approach & Aspirations
How do you prepare for challenging roles?
Research is key. Even if I haven’t personally experienced something, I find references in movies, real-life stories, or history. My acting coach once said, “You’ve seen it somewhere—find that connection and bring it to life.”
Which role has been the most meaningful to you?
Doris Horseknife in Cafe Daughter (2023). Doris was a role filled with strength, resilience, and love. It was an emotional journey that pushed me as an actress and helped me grow.
What roles do you dream of playing?
Horror and fantasy thrill me. A role like Toni Collette’s in Hereditary would be a dream come true. Something eerie, intense, and deeply psychological.
Life Beyond the Screen
What advice do you have for aspiring actors?
Take the leap, even when it’s scary. Surround yourself with mentors, stay persistent, and never stop learning.
How do you balance work and personal life?
I rely on my planner to keep me organized. I also make time for the people I love—it’s essential to step away from work and stay grounded.
Which places are on your travel bucket list?
Argentina and Spain. My mom was born in Mendoza, Argentina, and my ancestors were from Spain. I’d love to explore my roots.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully directing and writing horror films while still acting. Who knows—maybe drenched in FX blood on a major horror set!
